IE does the same thing as Chrome, except I can't shut it down by clicking the "X" in the corner, I need to shut the process down in Windows Task Manager. If Acrobat or Reader can open the sample form, then the other PDF could be damaged or the web server could be having problems. It turned out to be Microsoft's new security rules for IE8! Enable the Adobe PDF browser add-on (Firefox) Make sure that the Adobe PDF browser add-on (nppdf32.dll) is enabled.
