Finally tracked problem to explorer but have no idea how to fix it without nuking my hard drive. However, everytime I login, Explorer.exe crashes (or just dissapears) and I am left... You can shutdown explorer.exe via the task manager and from that point on until reboot it seems fine. The issue is that when I start the computer up Windows explorer immediately crashes, a black "wallpaper" is all that can be seen along with a window that reads, "Windows explorer http://isospanplus.com/internet-explorer/internet-explorer-11-crashes-when-opening.html

I have runn CCleaner hoping that perhaps a registry problem was the cause, but this did not resolve the issue either. The time now is 10:23. but it hasn't helped.
