Q: I'm trying to install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 on a system that has Windows Update problems. I tried turning off search and everything worked great. I don't think so - at least not entirely. Just a hard reboot shows the actual changed information on the explorer. EDIT: after testing we can´t confirm that solution, still got 0x8007003B only temporal solution that works for us: disable SMB 2/3 with open Command as administrator sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi I checked my Search Indexing settings but the share isn't in the indexing list. Poor implementation ofbad ideas.

EDIT: not sure if it matters, the Win 8.1 share is on a VM on a Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 server. I have a couple of machines on 1607 and some that are not.
