I have a feeling your issue might be hardware related. Next was an attempt to test the power supply. Remove your machine from the network for a while to see if it due to an update (or some network activity). Maybe the LOG will show up something when the computer freezes the next time.

I have a feeling your issue might be hardware related. Some blamed it on Skype or other applications but after removing any suspect apps the problem still occurred.
