It's called LiveContactsView, and it's designed for viewing Windows Live Messenger contacts. However, Windows Live Mail uses the same format for storing its contacts, so it works here, too. With proper naming/assignment of the fields it should import everything relevant. This isn’t much of a problem for your documents and photos. When the folder has finished deleting, you can now empty your Recycle Bin. When you create a file, you decide what folder it goes into.
In your case you may not have backed up the files you need, in which case you're out of luck. After copying, you can reset Folder Options if you want. Once the program has started click on the on the program's menu, which is found in the upper left hand corner of the program as shown below. But, Windows Contacts, as it is actually called, is also a full-fledged contacts manager, complete with all kinds of functionality that you'd expect to find in a typical address book.
To have Windows Live Mail use this new folder, click on the OK button. Failing this, is there some way to extract the contacts from the EDB file, into a format which can be imported into WLM (csv, wab, .contact)? Click on the OK button in this prompt and then close Windows Live Mail.
